ELA Games Takes Home Silver in Casino Software Innovation at SBC Lisbon

The recognition points to the studio’s focus on inventive slot mechanics and original art design.

ELA Games has been awarded Silver in the Rising Star in Casino Innovation Software category at this year’s SBC Awards. Taking place on the final evening of the SBC Summit in Lisbon, the win lands a well-regarded industry honor for the studio.

Winning the Silver trophy highlights the progress the studio has made over the last twelve months. The team focuses on matching technical execution with imaginative concepts, aiming to give players an unexpected slot experience. Earning a spot in a category dedicated to new ideas proves that a collaborative, hands-on development process helps the games capture attention.

Since entering the market, the studio has avoided mass-produced gaming models. The team balances a close exchange between artists and mathematicians to create slots that catch the eye visually while offering unpredictable gameplay. That hands-on craft shows across recent titles, from looking at ancient classics from new perspectives in Odysseus Wild Journey to introducing unusual character abilities in Silly Chilli Dogs. Every quirky asset works in tandem with entertaining mathematics to keep sessions interesting, confirming that prioritizing original design leads to real recognition. Yaroslav Soloshenko, Business Team Lead at ELA Games, commented on the achievement:

"Innovation sits at the center of everything we make. We want to rethink how slots come together, from the initial mechanics to the final player experience. Taking Silver in Lisbon proves that stepping away from familiar formulas to design something unusual works, and it is a huge credit to the whole team for bringing these ideas to life."

The awards ceremony provided a fitting conclusion to an energetic week on the ground in Portugal. Throughout the summit, the ELA Games team connected with delegates, operators, and prospective partners across the exhibition floor, showcasing their engaging gameplay in action. With the event wrapped up, the team is already back in the studio working on the next round of games.
